Delhi Capitals qualify for WPL 2026 final vs RCB:DC enter fourth consecutive summit clash after beating Gujarat Giants in Eliminator

Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Gujarat Giants (GG) by seven wickets to qualify for the WPL 2026 final in Vadodara on 3 February. Chasing 169 in the Eliminator, Delhi Capitals got past the finish line in just 15.4 overs. Jemimah Rodrigues and her team will now take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL 2026 final on 5 February. Delhi also became the only team to enter all four finals in the WPL so far. Delhi Capitals restricted Gujarat Giants to 168/7 Gujarat Giants scored 168/7 after being asked to bowl first by Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2026 Eliminator. Beth Mooney struck an unbeaten 62 off 51 deliveries as Gujarat posted a fighting score after losing early wickets. For the Delhi Capitals, Chinelle Henry emerged as the best bowler with three wickets for 35 runs in her four overs. Nandni Sharma, who has been superb so far this season, scalped two wickets, registering figures of 2/44. Minnu Mani also got one wicket. Shafali Verma (43) and Lizelle Lee (31) provided DC with a fiery start, with them putting up an 89-run opening partnership. Gujarat fought back briefly with Georgia Wareham dismissing both openers in one over. But that did not stop Delhi Capitals' emphatic batting performance.
